A Little Thanksgiving Help for Tampa

Next week is the holiday for food lovers.  A day to celebrate everything you love by stuffing your face with food around a table of friends and family.  A day to wear your old maternity pants, overalls, sweatpants, or any other ridiculous outfit that allows your stomach room to expand.  A day dedicated to the meal we wait all year to eat...Thanksgiving.

If you are involved in cooking the meal, whether it's the bird, a side dish, or a dessert, and you are looking for a new recipe try looking here:

There is a complete dinner menu, and it looks pretty tasty.

This year we are eating a Thanksgiving buffet at my parents neighborhood clubhouse.  I'm looking forward to taking this year off, and having a whole buffet spread to choose from.  If you feel like dining out instead of cooking here are some options:

                         King Charles Ballroom
                          Sea Porch Cafe

For even more options..."Go Out For Thanksgiving" at Tampabay.com.

Since we all plan on gaining a few pounds in a single meal, why not feel better about it by signing up to walk or run a 5 k with your family before the feast?

Wow, you have really done your homework! I have a question for you. We have a very special daughter turning 30 tomorrow. If you were her, where would you want to go out to celebrate? We appreciate your advice, and love your blog! DM

Yes...for birthday dinners there is a yummy restaurant that starts with a "B" and ends with an "H" :) But I'm sure your daughter, who must be very wonderful, will enjoy eating out anywhere as long as it's with you.
